AAC Element 2

$300.00
With help from you, the customer, Advanced Armament Corp.’s Element 2 suppressor has been revamped into a sleek, quiet can that delivers accurate and rapid fire. This improved silencer features several design enhancements that guarantee a fulfilling shooting experience. ‘Bama-based AAC sought out and addressed Element 2’s predecessor’s imperfections, resulting in a legendary upgrade—the 1/2×28 TPI mount is now a full-diameter (1”), flush-fit design that is CNC-machined from lightweight and durable titanium. Moreover, the mount is now permanently installed within the tube. Oh, and did we mention corrosion-resistant Grade 9 titanium alloy is used to create said tube? Well, it is! Talk about a resilient suppressor. Not surprisingly, the customary highly-advanced, heat-treated, 17-4 stainless steel K-baffles that always deliver class-leading performance with .22LR, .17HMR, and .22Magnum hosts were not compromised in the renovation. Quality over quantity… That is the mantra.

GEMTECH GM-22

$250.00
The Gemtech GM-22 rimfire can is the result of over 20 years of suppressor innovation and research. The cutting-edge G-Core baffle stack design enables the shooter to easily maintain this unit without sacrificing noise reduction. Located in Idaho with industry roots dating back to 1976, Gemtech developed the GM-22 using 7075 aluminum, adding considerable strength to the innovative design. In fact, the G-Core suppressor line is the strongest Gemtech has produced. The manufacturer treats this particular silencer’s core with their very own C3 Technology, resulting in a smooth finish that prevents lead buildup, therefore improving disassembly and cleaning. However, it is advisable to avoid harsh treatment solvents (e.g., Hoppe’s No. 9, the “dip,” ultrasonic cleaners). Do not be fooled by its diminutive appearance (5” length, 2.5 ounces)—the GM-22 is an impressive silencer that is a must-have for suppressor enthusiasts. And being the lightest can we offer, its handling is off the charts, making for an enjoyable and effective shooting experience.

Rapid Fire

  • Sound reduction: 36–39 dB
  • Caliber: 22LR, 22WMR, 17HMR (not rated for 17WSM)
  • Full-auto rated (22LR only)

SilencerCo Sparrow 22

$300.00
SilencerCo initially designed the Sparrow 22 in 2009, but quickly revamped it to its current, durable stainless steel version. At the time, this unit completely transformed the way people thought about rimfire suppressor maintenance… And resoundingly put SilencerCo on the map as a cutting-edge manufacturer. Located in Utah, SilencerCo developed this can with simplicity, durability, and user-serviceability as its core objectives. Yep, definite bullseye on their part. Before introduction of the Sparrow 22, rimfire suppressors were either sealed (i.e., they did not come apart for maintenance), or they had to regularly be factory-cleaned to avoid defect/seizure. By unveiling their patented Multi-Part Containment (MPC) sleeve into the design, SilencerCo enabled the Sparrow to easily be disassembled by hand, thus improving cleaning and overall efficiency.

Further Intel

Although redefining maintenance expectations industry-wide, the Sparrow 22 also became branded for having a noticeable first round pop (FRP). As a result, many suppressor manufacturers (including SilencerCo) began replicating the best design concepts from the Sparrow 22 into other models to improve overall performance. Nowadays, thanks to the Sparrow, providing ease of maintenance is a prerequisite for all top-selling rimfire cans. (Hallelujah!) In addition to being simple to disassemble and clean, the Sparrow is also .22LR full-auto rated and supports multiple higher-pressure calibers, such as .22Mag and .17 HMR. Due to its innovative history, it continues to be one of the most popular rimfire suppressors on the market. Adding one to your collection and enjoying its revolutionary benefits is highly recommended. (Simply put, the Sparrow 22 is legendary.)

Tactical Solutions Axiom

$330.00
When Silencer Shop started offering the Tactical Solutions Axiom can to enthusiasts, we really didn’t know what to expect. Tactical Solutions is notorious for creating high-quality parts and accessories for firearms, but they aren’t necessarily distinguished in the suppressor market. Fortunately for both parties, the Axiom turned out to be one of the best (pleasant) surprises we’ve received! There are several reasons why the Axiom is now a shop favorite:
  • It’s quiet! And not middle-of-the-road quiet—the Axiom is one of the quietest rimfire suppressors we’ve tested!
  • It’s brain-dead-simple to disassemble and clean, even after shooting thousands of rounds of dirty rimfire ammunition. (user-serviceable)
  • It’s rated for everything from .22LR all the way up to 5.7×28 calibers. (full-auto rated)
  • It weighs a modest 6 ounces. (titanium; stainless steel)
Although it wasn’t an overnight market success, the Axiom has worked its way into the top-selling rimfire suppressor currently available. Based in Boise, Tactical Solutions used advanced technology to create this ultra-durable, highly-versatile silencer.

Further Intel

Featuring Tactical Solutions’ patented split-tube technology, the Axiom allows the shooter to easily remove the titanium K-baffle stack for general maintenance, regardless of how filthy the suppressor gets from troublesome rimfire ammo. The tube itself is produced with rugged stainless steel, making this silencer one heavy-duty (yet affordable) unit.

Although the market for .22 caliber rimfire suppressors might appear oversaturated, there are certain manufacturers and cans that stand out to shooters. Thunder Beast Arms Corporation and their 22 Take Down silencer exemplify both points. Designed to suppress pistols and rifles chambered from .22LR to .17HMR (and even 5.7x28FN, not to mention all smaller calibers), this silencer is a versatile workhorse. This multi-purpose, heavy-duty can is user-serviceable and very easy to disassemble for cleaning purposes. Located in scenic Wyoming, TBAC formed with one important goal in mind: to make the best sound suppressor for precision and long-range shooting. Accuracy is their top priority. Judging by the effectiveness of their 22 Take Down design, they hit the bullseye in every facet.

Further Intel

The 17-4 stainless steel baffles are keyed and labeled to ensure proper reassembly every time the suppressor is taken apart for maintenance. This provides solid point-of-impact repeatability throughout the life of the 22 Take Down silencer. Moreover, a Grade 9 titanium tube is employed to keep the can’s weight to a minimum (5.9 ounces) without compromising its impressive durability. While utilized on a typical .22LR rifle, the Take Down suppressed the firearm to a range of 114–116 dB. Considering its versatility, performance, and asking price, this suppressor is definitely one for your collection.
